I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to inform

you that His Majesty's Ambassador at Washington has

been instructed to endeavour to trace the disposal of

all shipments of antimony arriving in the United States

of America. With a view to assisting His Excellency in

so doing, I am to request that, if Kr. Secretary

Bonar Law should see no objection, the Government of Hong

Kong may be instructed to keep Sir C. Spring Rice informed

by telegraph of any such shipments from that Colony.
